Pool Time

You never know whats going to happen when swimming at Grandpa and Grammy's. It can get plum crazy. If you go out and sit by the pool but do not want to get wet, too bad! Everything and everyone will get drenched. Just ask Tasha. Normally every year an inter tube gets popped from being misused, mainly on the slide. This year there was no tube popped but Kendall did get one stuck around him. It was a good change for this summer. One that will not be forgotten because I got a picture of it. We always have fun. This year was Izzy's first year in the pool. There was no taking it easy cause there was a baby around. Nope, she got introduced to the way things work right off. I think she took getting splashed in the face like a champ. Next year it will be Keleigh's turn.

The Fort

We bought Cole a swing set with a fort last year and it is finally done. Mitchell started putting it together and then we moved. The swing set went out to Mom and Charles' house and we went to Ft. Worth. It did not get moved till March, I think. Mitchell put the rest of it together and stained it. I made signs for both kids and Mitchell put them up where Cole picked. Now Coles plays on it every day and every day get to sweep sand out of the kitchen. At the end of the summer we are going to get Izzy a baby swing so she can play with her bubba.

Last Day of Preschool

Cole has now finished preschool. The last day of school was filled with fun and sugar. We started the morning by going the the donut shop for breakfast. Then at school the kids got to make ice cream sundaes. After games and a long time in the bounce house we went out for pizza for lunch. After the graduation ceremony there were cupcakes for the kids. Then when we got home I had made special graduation cupcakes for him. By the end of that day I think Cole had eaten 4 cupcakes and 2 bowls of ice cream with sprinkles. He was on a sugar high. The same week I graduated from college, Cole graduated from preschool. We are going to miss the little school he went to. There was a graduation ceremony held. The kids made graduation hat and t-shirts to wear. I may be a little sad about Cole moving up to a very large school but he is very excited and cannot wait.

College Graduation

I did it! I graduated from college finally. It was a good day. I made it all the way there with no traffic. The practice went smoothly. The ceremony was really good, very peaceful. Afterward I got to got out to lunch with my family. Lunch was good. The kids did great with Katie all day. The best part, besides the fact that it is all over, I got my Kitchen Aid mixer and a Nook and I love them both! Already getting great use out of them both. My new Nook now resides in a pretty new purple case. Thank you everyone for coming and for the gifts. I love you all.

Dad and Patty, if you can will you e-mail me the pictures you took. Thank you.

No Training Wheels

Well Cole is finally riding his bike without the training wheels. He did it all by himself. Mitchell got out there a few months ago and tried to teach him but they both ended up frustrated so the training wheels went back one. Then when Davin, the little boy that lives next door, started riding his bike a few weeks ago with the training wheels Cole asked for his to come off again. He got on his bike and off he went. He was told when he could ride without training wheels then Grandpa would buy him a dirt bike. He is very excited about that.
