Thanksgiving Mini Feast

This year Cole had his very first ever school program. The first of many, I'm sure. Last Friday we went to eat lunch with Cole at his preschool. The children helped prepare the food all week. Before that the children sang a few songs. Cole has been singing these songs at home for the last few weeks. The time finally came for him to sing them for the parents. He just stood there. He was not alone. All the little boys did that. The little girls sounded great. Oh well. Maybe next year. His class wore little pilgrim vests and necklaces that they made. After we ate we got to go into his classroom to see the turkey they all made out of there hands and feet. The teacher wrote what each kid was thankful for. Most kids were thankful for there toys and there pets. One little girl, Gabby, was thankful for her bear. My son was thankful for Mommy and Daddy and God. That warmed the heart. I have proof.

One of a Kind

If you did not already know this you will after these pictures. My son is one of a kind. For Halloween he said he wanted to be Santa Claus. I have never seen a Santa Claus out and about trick or treating. I thought it was a bit strange. We tried to get him to change his mind. We told him it would be cute to be a character from Star Wars to match Ayden. Thought he might like to be superman. No! He wanted to be Santa Claus. Not just any Santa Claus, one without a beard and who carried a bell. I won't stand in the way of a three year old who has his mind set. I guess I don't want Cole to be just like all the others. Every mother wants her child to be special. Well.....

I cannot seem to get a good picture of these two. Not for lack of trying though. It is my new goal. A small goal, but still a goal.

Halloween

This year is the first year we carved a pumpkin with Cole. He was soo excited. He loves pumpkins and was very proud of his smiley face pumpkin.

This is right before Cole left to go to his school Halloween Party. This shirt has been my favorite Halloween shirt he has worn. Cole came home from the party with a sack full of goodies. He got a bright blue swirly straw that he insists on drinking with all the time.

Church Fall Festival

Annual Children's Fall Festival: Cole doesn't really get into playing all the games so there was not many chances for pictures. Well, I can always find a chance to take a picture. I got a few good ones. It is more obvious every day that my kid is a little crazy.

AirShow 2009

This year we went to the Air show at Alliance with Grandpa and Grammy. Cole loves planes and helicopters. He also likes to wear earplugs. Mainly because he doesn't like loud noises. We wait to get to park was extremely long this year but was well worth it. When we got there we watched the very last flight of Fat Albert. After that were the Blue Angels. We missed Shockwave, the worlds fastest truck. That was disappointing but maybe next year.
